"One of the most creative, innovative and versatile players I've worked with in Nashville."
Bradley Hartman, engineer of Grammy winning albums by Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson
I'm currently offering real string quartets on your song; arranged, performed and recorded for $400. Sometimes, I can alternatively render a 6-8 piece string section based on a string trio for the same price. Using your mp3 or wav file, I will create string tracks for your song. After initial consultation with you, I render a mix with a couple of string parts on it. After your approval, I add a third part. After another approval, I add the fourth part. Skype, the telephone and email can all be used for close collaboration.
I can, also, play a string arrangement from your sheet music or midi file. Other combinations of violin, viola and cello; from single parts to string orchestras, can, also, be added to your track.
Currently I'm working on a couple of string arrangements for Jimmy La Fave's upcoming record. I can't believe that these are the scratch vocals I'm playing to. What a singer!!!! Inspiration is easier to channel when I love what I'm listening to.
In addition to his artisitic endeavors, Jimmy is the A&R man for Music Road Records. He recently signed Malcolm Holcombe to the label. Malcolm is recording a new record next week in Austin at Cedar Creek Studios.
My good friends Sam Baker and Kevin Welch are on Music Road Records, too.
